After five years of pastoring the Emmaus Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Robert LeCount Jr. was led by the Holy Spirit to organize a Church which became known as Disciples of Christ Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. On February 25, 2003 our Pastor Rev. Robert LeCount Jr. held a meeting at Missionary Tabernacle Baptist Church (Rev J. C. Green Pastor) with our associate Minister David Ridgeway, Deacon A. Hearn and all our faithful members. Everyone agreed unanimously to follow the vision of our Leader. (Without a Vision the people well perish).

On April 16, 2003 a lease was signed for a place to continue worshipping God.  We were very Blessed to secure a location in the Norwood Plaza out to having joint service until that time at our home church Missionary Tabernacle Baptist Church.  We give thanks to God and Pastor Green and the Missionary Family for their Act of Kindness. Our first Fellowship Service was held on Resurrection Sunday April 20, 2003 and God blessed the ministry greatly.

On June 2003 we Experienced Favor from God and had one to come for Baptism. Since that time god has added to the church some under Christian Experience and others as Candidates for Baptism. In June 6, 2004 we purchase new building on Edgewood Ave W. to call our Church home thanks be to God. The church has grown to 130 member and adding. To god be the glory for all that he has done and will do in the future for the church.
